The Most Genuine Love

Being the little sister of this groom makes this love story very special to my heart. I have also had the pleasure of watching Spencer and Bianca’s love grow from the early stages as I was stationed in California with Spencer at Camp Pendleton at the time they met. Anyone that knows her would not be surprised at how quickly Bianca impressed me. She quickly became the big sister and confidant I never had and never knew I needed.

Spencer and Bianca met in October of 2017 after connecting through the dating app, Bumble. When it finally came time for her to meet the little sister (that’s me!), Spencer decided to bring her to a Buffalo Wild Wings where she willingly spent HOURS cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs with us and listening to me and Spencer re-tell our military stories.

Over the next year, I tagged along on many of their adventures around California. The more time I spent with the two, the easier it was to see how perfect she was for my brother. Her positive attitude, adventurous spirit and fun-loving personality matched Spencer’s to a tee. They truly have the most genuine love. So, when Spencer came to me last fall to help plan the perfect place to propose, I was happy to oblige!

The Proposal

On their two-year anniversary, Spencer took Bianca back home to Missouri for what she thought was a Ernst-sibling reunion. Spencer planned a short morning hike with the family and surprised Bianca by proposing along a cliff-side overlooking the river.

The Wedding- August 15th,2020

Spencer and Bianca were married in a beautiful, intimate ceremony in Dana Point, California with the Pacific Ocean and harbor as a backdrop. Despite the many complications of the pandemic, the day was perfect from beginning to end and a testament to their resilience as a couple.

On August 15th, I witnessed my brother marry the love of his life and I gained a sister. I can’t express how happy and blessed I was to stand by their side as they said “I do” on that sunny afternoon. I don’t think I stopped crying from the moment the ceremony started to when I said goodbye after the reception. This couple means the world to me and my heart is so full to see my brother so happy. I cannot wait to see how their love grows and flourishes throughout their lives.

Here are a few of my favorite images from their day and some beautiful engagement photos I captured the night before they got married.
